By using MakeBead (makebead.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. 服務說明
MakeBead is a free, browser-based tool that converts images into bead patterns and pixel art for crafts including Perler, Hama, Artkal, cross stitch, kandi, LEGO mosaic, Minecraft pixel art, and diamond painting. We also operate a community gallery where signed-in users can save, publish, like, favorite, and remix patterns. Image-to-pattern conversion runs entirely in your browser — we do not host the source images you upload.
3. 選用帳戶
You can use the converter and download patterns without an account. An account becomes useful when you want to:
- Save patterns to your library and edit them across devices
- Publish patterns to the public gallery
- Like and favorite patterns from other creators
- Maintain a public creator profile at
/u/<username>
Account creation is intended for users 13 and older. Sign-in options are Google OAuth and email magic-link. You may close your account at any time (see §11). MakeBead remains free for personal and commercial craft projects.
4. 您的內容與授權
You retain ownership of patterns you create on MakeBead. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to convert and publish any source image — do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, publicity rights, or that is illegal, harmful, or abusive.
When you publish a pattern to the gallery, you grant MakeBead a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and let other users remix it through the on-site Designer for as long as it remains public. This license ends when you unpublish or delete the pattern, or when your account is closed (subject to legitimate retention needs such as DMCA records).
Other users' published patterns are not yours. Remixing through the on-site Designer is permitted; downloading the rendered output for personal craft use is permitted; reposting a creator's work as your own — on or off MakeBead — is not.
Trademarks of bead manufacturers (Perler®, Hama®, Artkal®, Nabbi®) are the property of their respective owners. MakeBead is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.
5. 可接受的使用
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Upload, save, or publish illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit content
- Publish patterns derived from copyrighted characters or trademarks without permission, or in a way that misleads people about the source
- Impersonate another person or organisation, including via username, display name, bio, or social handles
- Spam the gallery with low-quality, duplicate, or promotional patterns
- Inflate likes, views, or favorites — including via multiple accounts, scripts, or coordinated activity
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or bypass rate limits, CAPTCHA, or moderation
- Scrape or systematically harvest patterns, profiles, or other content from the site
- Misrepresent MakeBead as your own service
6. 串珠顏色準確性
Bead color RGB values are sampled from physical beads by the open-source community (beadcolors project, MIT license) and may differ from your actual beads due to lighting, camera, monitor calibration, or batch variations. Always cross-check colors against your physical bead set before bulk purchases.
7. 無保證
MakeBead is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported patterns will perfectly match your intended result. The community gallery is moderated on a best-effort basis but we do not warrant that all published content complies with these Terms.
8. 責任限制
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeBead and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of crafting progress, beads purchased based on the materials list, time spent, lost patterns, or actions taken by other users in the community gallery.
9. 第三方服務
MakeBead is built on Cloudflare's developer platform (Workers, D1, KV, Turnstile, Email Sending) and uses Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and Google OAuth. Their use of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for the full list and what each one does.
10. 檢舉與 DMCA
Every public pattern has a Report button. We review reports and may, at our discretion, hide or remove content that violates these Terms.
DMCA copyright notices. If you believe content on MakeBead infringes your copyright, send a notice to contact@makebead.com including:
- The URL of the allegedly infringing pattern on makebead.com
- Identification of the copyrighted work you own
- Your contact information (name, email, address, phone)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
We act on legitimate notices promptly and may notify the uploader, who may file a counter-notice. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
11. 帳戶終止
You can delete individual patterns from the My Patterns page or request full account deletion by emailing contact@makebead.com from the address on file.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, including for spam, harassment, repeated copyright infringement, or attempts to evade moderation. We will normally give notice before doing so unless the violation is severe or ongoing.
12. 變更
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
